Hi I'm Lorraine, a lady Painter and Decorator based in the village of Carlton just outside Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.

Since our founding in 2014 , A Woman's Touch has been transforming spaces and coming up with new ways to recreate your favourite spots. I am here to help you design the space you’ve always wished you could live or work in.

Your home or workplace is very personal, and so is the way I approach making it look and feel like it's your very own. Preparation

Good preparation is absolute key to a quality, smooth and lasting finish. I will deal with loose plaster, large gaps, settlement cracks, blown plasterwork and irregular plaster. Also, water marks, damp patches, mould and peeling paint

Wallpaper & Lining

This will be hung precisely so that joins cannot be seen easily. It will also be cut precisely in a straight line at the top and bottom and around features neatly. The pattern will be vertically and horizontally straight and matched around corners.

Painting and Decorating

Including walls, woodwork and kitchen cabinets. The finish will be smooth and even with minimal brush marks and lines will be clean, crisp, precise and straight.

Commissions

If you have a piece of furniture that you want to tie into your scheme, I do undertake commissions. This includes painting, wallpapering, decoupaging and simple upholstering.

Ideas & Advice

I can assist you to come up with a scheme for your room. I see this as facilitating your paint colours and wallpaper designs so that the final outcome is totally suited to your personal choices and to make the most of the room that is being decorated. I will also advise you on the type of paint that would be most suitable to your room and lifestyle.
